Port of Auckland : Temporary terminal closure 11 – 13 April 2025

Dear Customer,
A reminder that Port of Auckland (POA) will be temporarily closing Fergusson Container Terminal (FCT) for a 48 hour period from 11 April to 13 April to upgrade their Terminal Operating System (TOS).

Key dates & information :

• No Receival & Delivery (R&D) from 1500 hours, Friday 11 April. 
• Terminal re-open: 1500 hours, Sunday 13 April.

Container Chain/VBS

• No new VBS bookings can be made, or existing bookings changed during the 48-hour outage. Bookings can be made and changed outside this period.

Demurrage & Export Storage

• POA Demurrage and Export Storage charges will be suspended during the days of closure.

Container detention

Pacifica will extend our standard seven (7) day container detention free-time period to include the days of closure for cargo discharged at Auckland on v.4685 eta AKL Thursday 10 April.
