Lyttleton Port Company Infrastructure Levy Review effective 01 September 2023

Dear Customer,

Please be advised that Lyttelton Port Company has announced an adjustment to their current Port Infrastructure Levy effective from 01 September 2023.

This review is targeted for key investment in port expansion , upgrades and assets including new container straddles and ship-to-shore crane replacements. 

Consequently  Pacifica’s recovery billing will be revised from the current $34.50 per 20’ and  $74.00 per 40’  as follows :

These charges apply for all FCL cargo (excluding transhipments) stevedored through Lyttelton port.

Note:  The existing temporary LPC Emergency Dredging Levy of $5 per teu introduced 01 January 2023 is unchanged and is scheduled to be withdrawn after 31 December  2023.

The first affected Pacifica sailings are: 

MV Moana Chief   4520/21   eta LYT  02 September

MV Takutai Chief  0098/99   eta LYT  04 September
